He not only acknowledged this note, but sent me a long hand written letter thanking me for taking the time to let him know how much he had meant to all of us. Thank goodness we all have the hundreds upon hundreds of hours of recorded material in which to zvel for decades to come. My dad was watching as well and expressed concern that it looked like it was going to be the Hogan's Heroes of Korea. It wasn't, and we watched it every week together without fail and noticed Larry Gelbart's name on every episode. After that, I made it a point to watch everything he had a hand in. The fact that he could take a book like Barbarians At The Gate and make it into an entertaining movie still astounds me.Tom K Masonhttp://comics.gearlive.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19336675.post-49663578604122743432009-09-12T15:18:35.692-07:002009-09-12T15:18:35.692-07:00My condolences to you and all of his friends and f...My condolences to you and all of his friends and family.Jaynenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19336675.post-72127209811379156792009-09-12T12:45:31.590-07:002009-09-12T12:45:31.590-07:00M*A*S*H was one of the best television series ever...M*A*S*H was one of the best television series ever produced.
