He guested on our series, ALMOST PERFECT. Nancy Travis juggles the love of her life with the job of her life (showrunning a cop show). Craig plays a former boyfriend in this, one of our better episodes.
NOTE: The table reading was a disaster and the staff wrote this entire script in one night. Enjoy.

"How would I have time for Peter?"
Name pun, anyone?
Loved that series and Nancy! Glad to see her on LAST MAN STANDING nowadays (although her comedy skills definitely underutilized).
By the way LOVE all the insider tidbits you share..
Noting that the Table Read was a disaster... adds flavor.
All the insider stuff helps us not in the industry understand more.
Where are the commercials?
Just an update someone has posted under my name in a manner I don't approve.
From now on I will post under this name.
The Real Angry Gamer
So?
I remember that episode; I may even still have a tape of it.

Off topic - Ken, do you have any news on the pilot you mentioned a few weeks ago that you and David have sold?
And please do a movie review soon, preferably snark filled!
That "eons" line with his impression of Craig was pretty funny.
Didn't CF play Drew Carey's boss on the Drew Carey Show?
You can see his acting debut in Red Dwarf here.

I really hope CBS keeps Craig. He's fast. funny and smart. And without all the stunts and flash of the other shows. He is also the best interviewer. He's the only one I watch faithfully.
Being British I grew up watching Craig Ferguson. I think most of us still don't know that he's not working in a shop in Scotland, but is actually a successful talk show host in America.
He was in an early episode of one my favourite shows growing up: RED DWARF. (An early, shaky one, and er, his acting chops hadn't yet reached the heights on display in ALMOST PERFECT.)
Linda and i watched this off this post. Why didn't this run run forever? Oh well. It brought back many memories. Thanks again for letting us be a part of it.
Craig had a guest turn on "Hot In Cleveland" last night, and nailed it as usual. Agree with the earlier comment on his skills as a talk-show host; though I'd had loved to see him get the 11:35 gig, he's far too unconventional and freewheeling for that time slot. In that way, he's reminiscent of early-era hosts such as Jack Paar.
thanks for posting..
What are those pants Nancy is wearing in the first act? I'm glad some things stayed back in the 90s.
