Manny's back
Dodger slugger/goofball Manny Ramirez ended his 50 game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy Friday night in San Diego as the Dodgers begin a nine game road trip. I'm on that trip and will break in at any moment if there is important Manny news ... like he needs to tie his shoe. Every reporter not covering Michael Jackson is here. It's a media frenzy. Must get back to the game. Manny just walked to the Gatorade bucket. From San Diego and then New York and Milwaukee, this is your intrepid blogger/Dodger Talk host, Perez Levine.
Manny and Michael. I could yawn until my jaw breaks.
ReplyDeleteDamn you.
ReplyDelete"Perez Levine," made me streak my britches....
As a Red Sox fan I'll just say this: In less than one year you've experienced the full Manny experience. Incredible talent when he wants to play, and a deep Manny-first mentality.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see if the "steroid free" Manny can produce like the Manny of last fall.
You Dodger fans will have to learn to deal with the love/hate relationship we Red Sox fans had with Manny. He will soon be faking injuries, refusing to play, attacking Dodger staff (watch your back, Ken), and making stupid mental errors on the field (emphasis on mental).
ReplyDeleteI feel indifferent regarding his current situation.
Hey Perez! ROFL
ReplyDeleteDitto the above two comments. Can't wait to see how Manny Lite performs.
