I predicted the final score of the NBA All-Star Game to be 149-147. It was 148-143. I guess there was some defense after all. The hometown player usually wins the MVP. This year's MVP was Kobe Bryant. Let the after parties begin. But stay out of the Playboy Mansion guys.
Yes indeed. What an embarassment.
ReplyDeletePoints off for the lame half-time show ...
ReplyDeleteBurning question: why the hell did Kobe Bryant put his handprints in the forecourt of the Chinese Theater? Was it some Oscar winning performance I missed?
ReplyDeleteKen, besides this All-Star game being a farce, let's add this Hollywood Walk of Fame/handprint thing to the mix. What a joke ...

ReplyDeleteI heard that, too, and was as much outraged as puzzled. (Somewhere, Sid Grauman is screaming holy hell.) If you're going to give any LA hoop star that treatment (and I'm not endorsing the idea), it should be Magic Johnson. At least he invests in movie theaters.
I watched about two minutes. It was like watching the Globetrotters and the Generals without the fun. Blech.
ReplyDeleteGuess there was an upside to Seattle losing its NBA franchise after all; no incentive to subject yourself to this.
