WHERE THE HELL AM I? TRIPS I HAVE SURVIVED is now available in "handsome" paperback form. I'm pricing it ridiculously cheap. I'm not going to make a fortune anyway so why not make it more attractive for people to buy? It's only $6.99. Seriously. That's all. Here's where you order. And remember, it makes a great gift and Christmas is coming up.

Buy four and get free shipping. Makes a great Purim gift.
ReplyDeleteWhich company did you use to self publish?
ReplyDeleteAmazon says the paperbacks are out of stock!
ReplyDeleteThey must be selling like hot cakes!
I guess people were afraid you would stop posting until you sold 30 paperbacks in thirty minutes (or less).
Hope this comment isn't too negative (I am a big-time fan of this blog):
ReplyDeleteI would buy a book about Ken Levine's experiences in TV (easier than scrolling through all the back entries), but why would I be interested in his travels?
Ken's developed a readership based on his great firsthand accounts about working in TV and his insights into the TV/film industry. Does anyone else think it's a big mistake for him to self-publish a book that has little to nothing to do with what bought people to this blog in the first place?
No, because his travelogues are just as funny as the shi....errrr, "stuff" he writes about TV & radio.
ReplyDeleteWV: Boarrip-description of sound made when one of their male pig farts.
I haven't ordered the travelogues yet but I am planning on buying it soon for my Kindle app on my e-reader. I was hoping it would be out on the borders app because I prefer reading on my borders app to the Kindle app. But as Sophomorecritic says if a book of Ken's stories about working in tv/films came out I would buy it in a heartbeat. Hint, Hint.
ReplyDeleteI want to pass your book out all of my mishpacha at Passover. Does it go well with Manischewitz?
ReplyDeleteGreat, just got it on Kindle. Look forward to reading this.
ReplyDeleteFor me, You deserve for a fortune..
ReplyDeleteJust finished this last night (Kindle version). LOVED IT! A quick read; in fact, it went TOO fast. Couldn't put it down.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're prescient too: You mentioned Lea Michelle (sp?) in a piece from several years ago, way before Glee. You said keep an eye on her. And you had a couple of Charlie Sheen references, obviously before his latest implosion.
Ok, maybe the Charlie Sheen prediction was a gimme...
Ken, did you become Christian? "Christmas is coming." Or is that just a good sales pitch? lol
