I used to make fun of Comic-Con, especially the elaborate costumes and get-ups some attendees would wear. But no more. Not after seeing
this. Finally! Someone has the good sense and taste to dress as Dancin' Homer. Whoever you are, sir, I salute you.
Thanks to reader WillieB for the heads-up.
Man: Get on the bus, Dancin' Homer!
ReplyDeleteHomer: Will you shut up, I'm trying to think of a name!
I'm sorry, but those shoes just do not work with that outfit.
ReplyDeleteSo Ken, how ya feeling about @ShawnRyan replying to your tweet?
ReplyDeleteAwesomesauce I say :-)
"For the first time in my life, people weren't laughing at me, they were laughing towards me..."
ReplyDeleteWhen a geek with no life nor girlfriend obssessively dresses as something you wrote, you know you've arrived. I went to a convention once dressed as Niles Crane, but no one noticed anything.
ReplyDeleteLively up yourself, Dancin' Homer!
ReplyDeleteIn the words of the "Capital City Goofball" (voiced by Tom Poston): 'So Dancin' Homer, you're using the Baby Elephant Walk, eh? Ah, Mancini, the mascot's best friend!'
ReplyDeletenice. can you tell the story of how you got to The Simpsons and came up with this story idea?
ReplyDeleteThe story for "Dancin' Homer" came from Ken's experiences while doing play-by-play in minor-league baseball.
