  2. probably no better post than this to ask another Friday question with a Christmas/holiday theme...

Every December, we see a lot of sitcoms do a Christmas-themed episode. I noticed a lot of the same thing around Thanksgiving and even sometimes around Halloween (and Valentine's Day and the Super Bowl and even March Madness on CBS). A lot of times, it seems coordinated (i.e. a block of 4 shows on ABC Tuesday night are all Christmas-themed on the same night). And as a writer, do you like having to include holiday themes in your scripts? And who usually decides to include a holiday theme? Is that the show runners or the network?

  3. IIRC, Ken has said how difficult it is to come up with a holiday-themed episode, since it's extremely difficult to come up with an idea that hasn't been done before (and let's face it, the sentimentalist sensibility of Christmas can limit what a writer can do). But I'm certain he can elaborate.

  4. I actually look like that. (But with more beard & longer hair.)

Need a joke about Jewish Hell's Angels. All I've got is:
A wild weekend hog riding. After they've washed the dishes.
