Here are many of the celebrities who called into Frasier's radio program. Thanks to reader Danj for alerting me to it. They missed one of ours though. Dr. Timothy Leary. I've always been proud of the fact that we wrote comedy for Dr. Timothy Leary.
If you haven't already, check out my other post today about FRASIER.
Better to get it all out of the way right now. So I don't spend the entire episode trying to guess who the voice belonged to.
ReplyDeleteA great compilation, the head shots made all the difference.
ReplyDeleteThe Timothy Leary call was unusual because he got a good laugh all by himself. Frasier asked if something wasn't being fed, and Leary answered, "Well it isn't my butt." You can't ask for anything more from a caller.
AND, it was the episode when Liluth comes back. "Congratulations, Frasier, you've done it again...."
David Lee here. Can I add my thanks too? That was great. I also liked the people who were less well known to viewers but were some of my personal heros. Betty Comden and Adolph Greene, Harold Prince, come to mind.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe episode where Frasier does sports and Costas and Albert phoned in was a favorite of mine. I wish you all could have gotten The Vin.
ReplyDeleteFun serendipity moment. I was reading another blog and the topic was Secretary Hilary Clinton's propensity for wearing hair scrunchies. In the comments someone wrote "Dr. Lilith Sternin approves." with an accompanying YouTube from the episode of Frasier where Lilith returns and reveals her husband has left her for another man. I was enjoying the clip so much I almost didn't see the credit, "Written by David Isaacs and Ken Levine."
ReplyDeleteThese were funny - I particularly liked Mackauley Caulkin and Cindy "Bill going through a transition" Crawford.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Marlo Thomas ever really told Phil Donahue "For God's sake, use a plate!"?
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was classy
ReplyDeletehow they never got cute and resorted to inside jokes within the celeb callers like having Christopher
Reeve say "I think I am Superman"
or something equally lame.
