Thanks!!!

Thanks so much to everyone who answered yesterday's post.  If you haven't yet, please do.  When I started this blog I never dreamed I'd have readers from all over the world.  I figured my zip code and maybe one adjacent.   But I'm thrilled you're here and hope the level of content will keep you here.

Next up is actually meeting you all, and I'm working on that.   Thanks again.  And a special thanks to those who bought my book.  It really is my passion project so I greatly appreciate your support.

    I have a potential friday question, do you know if the character of Frasier's agent, Bebe Glazer, was named after Bebe Neuwirth? And if yes, did Neuwirth think that was funny? The character isn't such a nice person, after all? I think I read somewhere that that's how that character was named, but I can't find it now.

    Ken, I found your blog by way of a link at Mark Evanier's blog, two-three months back and come back every day. I think it's great that you are such a multi-tasker and reading your back-story (haven't bought the book yet) is fascinating. I'm 66 and live in 75052. I have a framed postcard from Mark Holtz and Eric Nadel. I had sent them a postcard from Montana after picking up WBAP Ranger baseball one night. Eric wrote: great postcard! You can bash Shrub all you want.

    Audio book?! I want to hear that!

    @Helena: You can buy Kindle books for your computer, your iPad, or even your smartphone. You don't actually need to own a Kindle.

    That said, if you own a different eBook Reader, you might be out of luck :-/

    I was trying to think of a name and couldn't. I searched using these parameters: tall/Jewish/funny/radio/movies/tv. I got you. Then I remebered I was trying to think of Howard Stern. Goodbye Howard, hello Ken.

    I read "It's gone...No Wait a Minute" and loved it. I'm a huge M's fan and love when you are doing the games. I found this blog after reading your book and wanted to see what else was out there. Great blog and now a regular on my list after lookout landing.

    Ken, I've been reading your blog for 3-4 years, every single day. I'm a producer in Syracuse... we met briefly when you were here with the Chiefs. Love Friday Q's, radio memories (which are pretty universal), and all TV insight. You just need more Dan Hoard...

    Ken, Heard about your blog on the Australia /New Zealand cruise in January and have been a fan ever since. We really enjoyed your programs about your television and baseball career on the cruise. You did such a great job. I bought the book and recommend it to friends. It is so good.

    So does this mean you'll be coming to Jamaica soon?

    I appreciated your post about pole dancing (I didn't get too distracted by Emmy noms :) - the things that have become Olympic sports really shouldn't have been. Big football (soccer) fan here, but I don't think soccer or any major team sport should be at the Olympics (track relays are fine).

There's an awful lot of us; you should really take him out to Five Guys soon to thank him for the buzz... you can help him finish his fries. Mostly, I come here to read stories about the days when radio was my best friend, and to stalk Johnny Walker, who is clearly the most darling Englishman since Davy Jones.
