Brilliant! (Though I did mention this parody at a Christmas party last night to my gentile friends and they didn't even crack a smile - what's wit dat?)
Hey, here's a Friday Question of limited scope: For a multi-camera show, is there a general approach to characters' eyeglasses? Because I'very watched each episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY more times than I should admit, I notice that Leonard's and Amy's specs are completely lensless. I'm guessing that it's due to reflections from the lighting, but aren't there non-reflective theatrical lenses? As I said, limited scope; it's taken me ten years to really make note of it.
Another clothing related question: When you've directed, did you ever ask the Costume Designer to change a character's wardrobe because you just didn't like it?
That's right along the same lines as the joke that Neil Goldsmith, the first Jewish mayor of Portland told at a BBYO (B'Nai B'rith Youth) convention in the early 1970s. Something about 3 children Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish at show and tell talking about what they did on Christmas. He could never tell that in today's climate.
Anonymous - I think I know that guy. Get me your phone number and I'll see what we can set up. I met him in a shvitz... strangest night of my life. :) :) :)

ReplyDeleteChinese food and a movie! It's as much a part of the holiday as menorahs, brisket, and latkes!
