Well, he didn’t really, but Ken talks to Neil Ross, a voice over artist who has announced the Academy Awards, and in his prior life was a disc jockey filled with crazy and colorful stories… including one with Jim Morrison of the Doors.
Enjoyed the podcast - and especially the Jim Morrison story. Recently saw Robby Krieger tour and it was fantastic. Closest thing you can get to seeing The Doors these days.
I first became familiar with Neil as the voice of Movie Magic on Discovery Channel. Kind of an obscure show, but just goes to show you never know which gig is going to have an impact on somebody.

ReplyDeleteCame for the Morrison, stayed for the roller derby tales. Fabuloso!
