This week Ken & lead Fox play-by-play man, Joe Buck discuss calling NFL football, the Super Bowl, World Series, and dealing with Social Media, which is not for the faint of heart. It’s a fun, informative, and candid conversation. You don’t have to be a sports fan to enjoy Joe Buck.

Joe is doing a great job this week as Jeopardy guest host. In fact he is my second favorite guest host behind Ken Jennings. Too bad the sweepstakes is over. Although I don't think Joe would have given up his day job to host a quiz show.
ReplyDeleteI think his sports background really helped Joe Buck on J!. Setting the scene going into Double Jeopardy, for instance.
ReplyDeleteThe Field of Dreams game telecast is now my all-time favorite from among what are now thousands of candidates. I cannot adequately explain why. But it’s far ahead of the pack.
ReplyDeleteYour buddy Joe was a big part of that. His humor, intelligence, and overall magic bag of tricks makes him the perfect choice to announce a one-off novelty like that, or anything at all for that matter. Put him on the Last US Chopper Out of Kabul telecast and I’m probably transfixed.
He’s a treasure. I don’t watch Jeopardy!, so I’m glad he didn’t have to choose between that and continuing on with sports. (But I did have tickets to see the first COVID-canceled J! taping, which would have been my first. Still saddened. I knew then and there would not be another chance to see Alex Trebek and what made him tick).
