My Thanksgiving Tradition... and tribute to Soupy Sales

This is believe it or not, a Levine Thanksgiving tradition. It began one year when we had too many desserts and I made the mistake of asking my wife what she wanted to do with the cream pie.

  1. I've been entertained by the antics of show biz all my life, now six and a half decades, Ken, and still - there is NOTHING so wonderful to behold as a pie in the face.
Love your "tradition;" your family is MY family.

  5. More important than the recipient is the skill of the pie thrower. Debby has it SPOT. ON! Coolest family ever.

  6. I'm sorry. The concept of "too many desserts" makes no sense to me. That's like "too much sex." Doesn't compute.

  7. What a great tradition! I've loved pies in the face for years and been on the receiving end myself a number of times. It's not a holiday tradition for us, but in a funny bit of coincidence, we found out a few days after the last time that it had actually been "National Pie Day". (Video here.)

Best to you and yours this season -- I've loved your blog for a while and have linked it a number of times.

Ken Levine continues to make us laugh. I love "The Full Soupy". By the way, Bobby Ocean is one of the greatest radio performers ever to open a microphone.
