Off subject but two Friday questions.
ReplyDelete1) With all the production company's etc listed at beginning of movie etc that are acknowledged in many cases to be nothing but a form of tax avoidence manipulation has anyone ever named a "production " company "Tax Dodge" Films or some similiar real and accurate name?
2) With streaming services etc demanding new content has employment for actors, directors etc gone up? May this go down as a "golden" age at least for the number of those collecting paychecks?

Twenty-five years of ~10 New Yorker cartoon rejections a week, because — I’m guessing — after the first decade they were all Sisyphus—themed, or the desert island equivalent. My only talent — or is it a talent? — is second-guessing, and by year five I’d’ve been wondering if my chances would've improved as a submission-destroying mailroom worker, or as an upper management in-law.
