Video you've GOT to see

This is Christina Bianco. She does uncanny impressions... of divas. Here she is singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" as everybody from Adele to Barbra to Celine.  I love this girl.  Check her out.

  1. Two things:

    1. Thought I would hate this, but I was disappointed. Very enjoyable.

    2. I know this is politically incorrect to say, but facts are facts: this woman has the skill set to stop any rape attempt in it's tracks.
Seriously, guys-would YOU rape someone who sounded/acted like Liza Minelli? Really? How about Edith Piaf? Oh, look! It's Barbara Striesand! And now, let's welcome... CHER!

  2. Sara Ramirez played the Lady of the Lake in the original Broadway cast of Spamalot and did a knockout Streisand, among others. But it's interesting. For years, there has been discussion of the smaller number of women comics. Note how few women impressionists there have been. Interesting to ponder.

Politically incorrect? How 'bout just fucking stupid!

  4. Politically correct? You're like the guy who thinks he can say the N-word because he has black friends. You should be ashamed of yourself. Nice to see you hiding behind anonymity like a big boy.

  7. Sort of the female equivalent of Sammy Davis Jr.'s "That Old Black Magic," where he did impressions of all sorts of guys doing that tune.

  9. Especially liked Julie Andrews and Streisand. Her expression when she breaks into Celine Dion is really funny.

  11. I liked your Christina Bianco Diva impressions video post & it reminded me about your post recommending Linda Eder as a great singer / performer & that's someone I'd never heard of; looked her up via YouTube & she's very good. I'm a huge music lover; Julie Andrews, Barbra Streisand, & Whitney Houston are my favorite female vocalists. Recently found another I'd overlooked - gorgeous (candidate for a pic in your blog) Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA (1972-1982); I'd forgotten how great she was/is when singing solo's. She just recorded another album 'A', after about 25 years in seclusion - it's very good & you can see classic ABBA video on www.abbainter.net
Ken - your blog is a daily favorite of mine - keep it up!
