Members of my family spent a lot of money on things they really didn't want or need but they felt good because it cost them less than it would have the day before. Huh!
Thank Jeebus that we celebrate the one true holiday in my house...Festivus. No gifts to exchange, but lots of rancor to hand out during the airing of the grievances...
I loved today's pictures in the LA Times of hipsters "protesting Ferguson" by laying down in the street and staring into their iPhones.
I never understood the general public rancor generated by hipsters.
Now I'm starting to "get it." I guess they're like the hippies from the sixties. Struggling for relevance without achievement, always commenting from the sidelines, they just eat, crap, and annoy until their potential is spent, and... that's their story.

Back in the days when I worked in the non-defunct electronics department at JC Penney, we used to show this movie on our big screen TV.
ReplyDeleteNobody appreciated quality JC Penney humor more than is staff of "specialists." Remember this from Letterman?
