ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time each day to do this. It's entertaining, enlightening and engaging (especially the comments section!). Best to all in 2015.
ReplyDeleteLike Bob Balaban says, burn warm, not hot, that's the formula for longevity in show biz. Here's hoping you all burn warm in the coming year, show biz or not.
ReplyDeleteWho's Idina Menzel? Oh, you mean Adele Dazeem!
ReplyDeleteScooter: Bob Balaban should know; I first saw him off-Broadway as Linus in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN in 1968!
ReplyDeleteAll: Happy new year!

15 tries so far (including refreshes) on the captchas. If this keeps up I'm going to have to give up on trying to post.
And Vin. Every year is Vin's year. And to you, Ken, and to everybody else here, Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure Peyton Manning would agree he should be on the list.
ReplyDeleteYou're cool.
ReplyDeleteHappy, Happy!
Happy New Year to everyone! And may A or B? come to a theater near all of Ken's loyal readers!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Fellow Ken Levine readers!
ReplyDeleteFriday question: this usually doesn't matter in network comedies, but in cable, especially dramas where you get 8-10 episodes to unfold a story, sometimes writes will jump months ahead in between two episodes after the time frame had been week-to-week or bi-weekly from an episode to the other.
ReplyDeleteI always notice that and it bothers me. Do you think it's a mistake to do that?
The Kansas City Royals---man, who would have believed it.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, except for Clint Eastwood, I loved Paint Your Wagon. Thought Lee Marvin was great, even his song, "I Was Born Under A Wondering Star", which had one of my favorite lines from any song (from a musical): "I never saw a sight that didn't look better looking back."
That's pretty much how I feel about 2014. This blog however, has been a wonderful discovery.
Happy New Year, Ken! Happy New Year to commenters as well. Your remarks are often as interesting and funny as the original blog post.
I don't have trouble with the captchas, but lets not lose Wendy Grossman! Can someone help her?
Russell Wilson in, Papa Peyton John out in the kitchen. Vanderbilt in...if we're noting NCAA Champions we must note Vandy. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI second and third everyone else's sentiments.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
And thanks, Ken, for this wonderful blog that makes my day every day.
Wendy, if you're problem is the checkbox, maybe try and make sure you're on the latest version of Java or Flash. (And since even Homeland Security doesn't like Java, best wishes and good luck.
Happy New Year Ken! May you continue to live life, love life, and enjoy the joy of life!
ReplyDeleteAnd RIP Edward Herrman....sigh..one last one.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Ken! (Currently enjoying your comments on "Greatest Ever Sitcoms" airing right now in the UK!)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Ken!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI'll be singing "Should old acquaintance be forgot" like Bill Cosby.
Happy New Year to anyone and everyone who reads this. Thanks for another year of daily entertainment, Ken!
ReplyDeletebenson: I can check the box, but then it shows me a Rorschach blot it claims has letters in it. That's the thing that's taking 15 tries.
