  5. Man, Lizzie had some of the greatest legs to ever grace the screens back in the day. She and Barbara Eden both - always enjoyed episodes of BEWITCHED and I DREAM OF JEANNIE where Sam and Jeannie would wear those miniskirts.

  9. An irony of BEWITCHED is that neither Liz Montgomery or the great Agnes Moorehead won Emmys for their performances on that show. The only acting Emmys went to the original Mrs. Kravitz (Alice Pearce) and Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne), both who died during the series run (Lorne died 10 days before accepting her Emmy).

I think that was less a reflection of the talents of Montgomery and Moorehead than of the repetitious nature of the show's scripts and of the way the women's characters developed. Aside from her occasional appearances as kooky cousin Serena, Montgomery was largely limited to playing Mighty Mouse, swooping in to straighten out whatever chaos witchcraft had created that week and to concoct a way to tie everything in perfectly with the latest multi-million dollar advertising account McMann & Tate was trying to land. And far too much of Moorehead's role was delivering endless variations on, "So Samantha doesn't think her precious Durwood is vain. I'll show her just how vain that ridiculous mortal can be."
