  3. My condolences, Ken.

Seeing the picture of the four generations of Levines reminded me of the old saying in my Catholic family when I was the youngest living of four generations: Father, Son, Holy Ghost, Amen. Being Amen was great, and then the Holy Ghost wasn't as much fun. Then I became Son, but it wasn't until I had my own Holy Ghosts that Son became a good spot to be. May you live long enough to have your own Amens.

  8. I'm so sorry for your loss, Ken. Please accept my condolences. I have always been so impressed by the way you described your dad as your hero. What a wonderful tribute to him, and the job he did as a father. I wish you and your family all the best -- I hope all those wonderful memories help at this difficult time.

  9. So sorry for your loss, Ken.

As someone who considers his own father to be his best friend - knowing far more people that aren't close with theirs - we're certainly the lucky ones. I'm sure you'll continue to make him very proud.

  17. Sorry to learn of your loss, Mr. Levine. A father is a precious thing, and one who becomes a friend, as yours did, and, thankfully, my dear dad did, is a wonderful bonus. Cherish the memories, which will ease the loss, a bit anyway.
