I took this picture in Beverly Hills.
I always wondered where he ended up. This is in Philadelphia.
Art gallery in Maui. Tony Bennett and David Bowie in big letters and then in smaller font -- Picasso.
Also in Maui.
Concession stand at the Tokyo Dome where the Mariners are (and I'm not). Thanks to Shannon Drayer for these next few pictures.
Good advice in any ballpark.
In America you can't find bookstores anywhere. In Japan they're in baseball stadiums.
No, this was not taken in Japan, This was the LAX Hilton during my last Sitcom Room seminar.
Same with this one.
This wasn't taken in Japan either. It comes from the far more civilized Anaheim, Ca.
For all the Jews who worried that there was bacon in ice cream.
No, this is not me. Or anyone I know. But just a typical patron of the Tilted Kilts in Peoria, Az.
And finally, the ultimate spring training picture.

The Cardinals look a little short-handed.
Tho' I was over the moon to see our Dodgers here in Tucson Friday, the jerseys in the late innings were without names and numbers no lower than 80...so I feel for the "some minor league guy..."
not much bacon in the ice cream, but there is sausage in the sandwiches
That definitely made The Sitcom Room participants the second most dweeby folks at the Hilton that weekend. At least, that's what we told ourselves.
It would be totally cool if Minor League Guy ends up being the next Mike Piazza, a guy who came out of nowhere to put in a Hall of Fame career.
Listening to the M's game from Japan, I wondered how much Dave Nehaus would have loved it.Ant thoughts?
This early in the year, "Minor League Guy" works.
Minor League Guy on Third!
The best in a long while...
Made me wonder if John Madden was, Boom, running the chyron.
"And over here, hahahaha, you got your Japanese girl with blue hair. I don't know what that's about..."
Announcers should brush up on their spanish and go the Ochocinco route.
Cackling at "Minor League Guy"
Maybe the gallery is showing the works of Paloma Picasso.
Re: the masked baseball announcer, I do not know why you had to specify that he was in California and not in Japan. That is a luchador mask he is wearing, in imitation of Mexico's legion of masked wrestlers. In other words, that is a sight that is far more likely in California than in Japan.
Well work on your blog. Blogging is a nice activity.
I was listening to that Cardinals-Mets game on the radio -- the Mets broadcasters dispatched someone to ask the Cardinals' PR who this baserunner was and he had no idea. There wasn't anyone assigned to that roster number. Perhaps it was the fan of the day.
Love all those late inning switches in the spring training games!
The outfits in the LAX hotel photos are cosplay, a common activity at comics and science fiction conventions. Many attendees dress up as their favorite characters (in this case, characters from anime) for fun. Think of it as a masquerade party that lasts all weekend.
But you knew all that :)
This comment is way late, but--Minor League Guy is Oscar Taveras, who happens to be the #1 hitting prospect in the entire Cardinals farm system.
LOL @ The last pic, the "minor league guy" haha.
