What is one of my proudest moments in television?

The actual answer is "What is a Zamboni Machine?" but considering one of our episodes became a JEOPARDY question, the subject line could also qualify as a right answer.

The Career Jeopardy Question is:
“What is a snow plow driven by a performer who dislikes
on-air beauty critiques?”

I'm going off-subject to wish Peri Gilpin a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Yea Gemini! One of my major sitcom pet peeves is siblings that don't look anything alike. That's why casting David Hyde Pierce to play "Frasier's" brother was so brilliant. Another peeve is actors in radio based sitcoms that DON'T SOUND like radio people. That's why Peri as "Roz" was so great. I don't know if she was ever a D.J. in real life, but she should have been. She had the voice for it. I can picture her on the midnight-to-six shift, on some F.M. station playing classic rock or esoteric jazz. In an earlier blog you mentioned that Lisa Kudrow tried out for "Roz." She probably would have been good, but Peri nailed it. BTW, on one of my searches an old blog of Ken's came up. (Mar. 10, 2010) It was about Peri. Happy happy.

I'm not saying our blog host was LITERALLY beaming with pride, but I could see the ray of light all the way from here in the Long Beach area. Congrats, Ken. :-)

Nice. Readers of this blog would be all over that question. Speaking of Jeopardy, and things that have never been in my kitchen, Cliff on that show is one of my favorites episodes. Any commentary on that one (for a Friday question).

I'm thrilled to announce I won an award at this weekend's Die Laughing Film Festival -- Best Character, for Colleen Cossitt, the lovable, larger-than-life lead of my romantic comedy "Stand Tall!" She's excited too...
