EP168: Free Association Podcasting

As an experiment, Ken just free associates from one random topic to another. It’s a little of everything including throwing Neil Young out of a record store.

Listen to the Hollywood & Levine podcast!

I enjoyed the Seinfeldian Blog About Nothing. You're a great storyteller, and this was quite entertaining.

Great job, Ken. Really enjoyed your riff. Thanks for the warning about Kate Beckinsale.

Great format. Fun to hear. Do more!

(How about a free association riff session on the idiocy of Donald Trump! :)

Gosh that was fun! Do it again!

Now need to find Broderick on YouTube and find Sorkin on your blog. Homework!

OK. Couldn't find Broderick messing up the teleprompter on YouTube.

Sorkin on your blog is here: http://kenlevine.blogspot.com/2015/11/best-of-2010-guest-blogger-aaron-sorkin.html

What did he say about you, which he apologized for?

And I believe your showing of "The Heartbreak Kid" in 2015 was the last time it aired on TCM to date. They should bring it around more often. Maybe we'll have an Elaine May spotlight someday with others like A New Leaf and Mikey and Nicky.

Thanks Ken.

I can never remember which Kate is which: Kate Beckinsale... Kate Bosworth... Cate Blanchett... Kate Winslet. I'll just avoid all of them from now on.

Really enjoyed the podcast. Random thoughts and tangents are a great listen.

@ Glenn E: I just checked TCM's April schedule and it seems they're still stuck on their 30s/40s/50s routine. When they show a 1970s movie it looks like it was court-ordered.

I remember watching The Hearbreak Kid. It was a double feature with another movie.
