That brings back memories for me as in the early 80s, I stayed with a friend that had an apartment in Los Angeles on Washington Street across from Hughe's Market. I was down to look for work, but probably did more partying than actual job hunting. Anyway, the MGM lot was down the street and I remember passing it. I noticed that Lorimar was there. My favorite show at the time was Dallas. I just remember taking a temp job and one of my co-workers at the time was telling me about his experiences working on the Lorimar lot and all the characters in the show.

Thanks. It still is sad to see the photos of workers replacing the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios" sign with "Lorimar Telepictures".
