In Steve Jobs' own words

This 1997 commercial for Apple never aired. It was re-voiced by Richard Dreyfuss. But this original version was voiced by Steve Jobs himself. I can't think of a better tribute. But then, leave it to Steve -- to find the best possible way to do something.  Rest in Peace... and thank you for everything... including changing the world.

Would not have seen this if you had not put it up, Ken. Thanks.

Lovely film. Great to see Jim Henson in there.

Amen. I worry that Apple is going to be like Disney after Walt died, gradually entering a rudderless drift. So if Eisner's still around in fifteen years...eew. Shudder to think.

Thanks for posting this! It's one of my favorites:)

estiv: I don't think we have anything to worry about. A friend had to meet with Apple reps last week because they are looking to expand their philanthropic reputation(right now they are the least philanthropic of all the large corporations). I see that as a promising move.

With Steve Jobs ends the relentless driving force of Apple, perhaps. Tim may be the best replacement, but there will never be another Steve Jobs' again. Miss you, Steve!

Great film! Many things make more sense after viewing it... even if it's not the first time. :-)
These are people that questioned the status quo, something that we all should do. People that believed in their own vision and didn't allow others to clutter it.
It's the only way to create a better future for us all.
Thanks for sharing.. and changing the world this way too. :-)
