EP289: Comedy Writer Earl Pomerantz

This week Ken replays his interview with Earl Pomerantz from 2018. Earl was an Emmy winning comedy writer who sadly passed away in 2020. He was insightful, very funny, with a unique voice. With appreciation — here again is Earl Pomerantz.

Finally, a nice comedy writer!

Fascinating stuff. Made me wish that I had read more of his blog

It shouldn't surprise anybody but one episode of Family Man is on YouTube- it popped up two months ago.

Thank you for this podcast, Ken. You are a good interviewer. I liked how you let Earl tell his stories without interruption. Yet when it seemed he might be getting off the topic, you gently brought the conversation back around. What a wonderful person Earl was (and is).

Jim Dodd (not THAT Jimmie Dodd)

As a very old friend of Earl’s from his Toronto days, I want to thank you so much for this! We miss Earl so much so this was a blessing to hear again. Still can’t believe he’s gone.

Great interview Ken as I loved reading Earl's blog after your recommendation all those years ago. Sure miss his daily comic meanderings but glad his blog is still up for others to enjoy. Cheers.

PS--To verify I wasn't a Russian robot, had to pick out yellow Taxis. Earl would've smiled.
