Where does the Edmonds catch rank on your all-time list?

He doesn't play for a New York team...

which is why most of us never saw it.

which is why it won't rank up there with Mays and Gionfriddo

Is his team called the Carp?

Wow!

And that team has the exact same caps as the Cincinnati Reds! :-)

Wouldn't you just love to hear Vin Scully call that one!

@Somersby Creek

That video is a well-known hoax.

Please, dear Lord, let someone from the Marlins have seen this and be flying to Japan NOW.

I realize that it's been 45 years since I last went to a Dodger game, but my gracious, how they, and the crowd watching, has changed!

And I understand Vin Scully is very old now, but frankly, I couldn't understand one single word he was saying on the soundtrack.

As one of those children of the 80s who grew up fascinated by ninjas due to many bad video games and worse movies, I always wondered what happened to them and their Japanese descendants. Apparently, they ended up playing major league baseball there

I've watched this 100 times and I still can't believe it -- what makes it most wonderful is the way he reacts. At first he doesn't at all, and then he slowly seems to realize, "oh wait, I bet that looked incredible" and smiles.
