To commemorate Valentine's Day and my birthday, for the next two days I am selling THE ME GENERATION... BY ME (GROWING UP IN THE '60s) Kindle version for only $0.99. It's my humorous look back at the decade of the Beatles, the California Myth, California Meth, hippies, sex (for others), radio, records, the Sunset Strip, ridiculous fashions, three networks, cool cars, love ins and drive ins, and more.
Normally $4.99, today it's less than a buck. Here's where you go to order yours.
Seriously, I'm very proud of this book, and if you're a fan of my writing -- no matter what decade you're from -- you will enjoy this book. And get some laughs. Thanks. Peace, love, you can't beat this price.

I'm still hoping for a sequel where you talk about the army and how you met your wife, and other stuff that happened in the 70's.
Got it. Looking forward to reading.
OK, I bought it. Can I have my arm back?
Happy Birthday Ken! And Happy Valentines Day too!
I went to buy your 99cent book only to find it is 99 cents PLUS a Kindle for $199. So that didn't happen. But I did read your free Amazon pages which I enjoyed and related to. I am the same age and had a parallel Florida universe experience. Except that in Bradenton the only local shows were Gator Farms and Monkey Jungles. I did watch the Lloyd Thaxton Show on syndication and remember it well. You didn't mention the sit-down dancing he invented. He had lots of big names on lip syncing their hits: Sonny and Cher, Paul Revere and James Brown. I especially remember James Brown because he wore a skin tight suit (same one Bruno Mars wore at the Super Bowl) and had a boner the size of a medium chihuahua running halfway to his knees. It was all Lloyd could do to keep from breaking up.

George in Vegas
Bought it. One of my parents wasn't even alive through most of the sixties, but for that price I'll read it anyway. Happy birthday!
Ken, I want this book, but in hardcover...I don't own a Kindle...and at the moment I am unemployed, but once the job lands I will be getting it. Thanks though for the nice offer.
Whup! THANKS to Anonymous who mentioned the free Kindle reader....I bought this book and will look at getting Must Kill TV next.
Blinky,
You must've read that wrong. It's 99 cents with no catches.
Sorry Ken, I was trying to be clever. Since I don't have a Kindle I thought I would have to buy one. Didn't realize there were translators to other devices.
By the way I read your column every day. I am not a writer but I enjoy getting your POV.
Mister Charlie
MUST KILL TV is great. I definitely recommend it.
Ken, I took you up on your offer. Thank you for the gift, sir. :-)
