Over the years Ken has written countless sitcoms including, Cheers, Frasier, Mash and The Simpsons. On today's show, Ken discusses his process for writing comedy and shares a lot of great tips and stories along the way.
By coincidence, I was thinking of that episode of Frasier. I watched a rerun on Netflix of the first season of the show where Lilith appears, Niles had a long running dislike of her. Niles said that Lilith had snicker during the vows that Maurice had written.
Words with a K -- I think the reason for this involves performing in a large vaudeville theater without microphones. Hard consonants are more easily understood. So, "Why are you de-feathering that pheasant?" doesn't work as well as, "What are you flicking that chicken?"
