Re: the Julia Roberts story. Nope. I read it shorty after I saw "Harriet" and didn't believe it for a second. Still don't. They're going to do anything to get butts into seats on this movie, which is a shame since it features a truly memorable performance by Cynthia Erivo. But that won't be enough. Like the Ruth Bader Ginsberg biopic last year (with Felicity Jones), this woman, Harriet Tubman, deserves a better movie. At least RGB had the documentary. Poor Harriet Tubman. A miniseries would have served her better. Harriet Tubman was anything but a victim and in a weird way, it feel like this guy is playing the victim card to get us to notice his movie.
Ken, if you ever happen to interview Chuck Lorre for your podcast, there's a question I really wish an interviewer would ask him: how does he do such a good job of finding collaborators and how does he adapt to working with so many different ones? On BIG BANG THEORY, it was Bill Prady; on TWO AND A HALF MEN, Lee Aronsohn; on DHARMA AND GREG, Dottie Dartland; and on BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA it's the Nigerian-American actress and comedian Gina Yashere, who also is a cast regular.

Julia Roberts as Harriet Tubman? Seems appropriate for a country where 64 million voters think Trump is a good idea to play the role of president.
If anything, casting as swung ridiculously far in the direction of being painfully precise. Required viewing:

I liked the Open All Night story- unfortunately your episode ("Sitting Ducks") appears to be one of the few that is not on YouTube.
