My first directing assignment

Thanks to the producers of WINGS for giving a first-time director a shot. Special thanks to David Lee who patiently taught me camera blocking. I can watch this now without getting the sweats. Watch the show today and tomorrow I will fill you in on all the juicy details. Hint: Picture PROJECT GREENLIGHT but much more chaotic.

Good episode, never saw it before, but I stayed with it all the way. Even spotted an odd music credit at the end, Theme By Franz Schubert.

I still recall Thomas Haden Church from his debut on Cheers, when he delivered a message related to Eddie Lebec's death and then concluded, "My work here is finished." He was on camera for maybe 30 seconds, but made quite an impression.

This looked like a regular sitcom episode. Was there anything in it that would reveal the "Ken Levine touch?" With another director at the helm, would it have looked that much different?

Funny coincidence, the credit Directed By Ken Levine ran just as Steven Weber picked up the camera to photograph himself.

Despite your carping about it, it looked like every other episode of Wings (in a good way).

Another thing: Charlotte Bronte, Babe Ruth, and Angie Dickenson all have very different birthdays. I know you didn't write it, but still...
