How to write a love song

Compliments of the always brilliant, Axis of Awesome.

And I posted this early last year, but in case you missed it -- here's their greatest hit (which is every other hit in rock n' roll).

So this brilliant song collection goes along with my philosophy of writing too, which is there are no new plots, no new characters, no new stories, it's just how you decide to write your story. Which is really somewhat freeing. I used to worry too much about 'oh, this reminds me of that twilight zone episode I saw when I was 12, and this character reminds me of that one movie I saw last year.' Now I don't worry so much about the similarities, because there is no escaping it. It's just how you make your song different from the other ones out there using the same four chords!

This is pretty great - it reminds me of DaVinci's Notebook's "Title of the Song".

Ah, the Penn and Teller's of music! Deconstructing popular music the way Penn and Teller deconstruct magic! Great group!

At the Titty Bar, where everybody knows your name; at the Titty Bar, and they're always glad you came. Wonderfully entertaining group.

People, you HAVE to listen to the Axis' other great tunes, like "Lazyeye" their take on James Bond themes, and "Moderately Rick & Roll".

WW...another actual word--"worst"
