Emmy nominees to be announced today

The nominations for this year's Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced at 8:30 PDT.  At that time I'll write today's post, giving my reaction.   So come back later today.    I'm sure there'll be some snark and celebration.

Thank you for reminding me, I nearly forgot! :)

Anyone you are hoping to see nominated, Ken? Did you happen to catch The Fall with Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson? Did you find any new and interesting shows this year? :)

Didn't we just have the Emmy's? I swear, it feels like we just keep having the same awards over and over again all year. Country music alone has like four different award ceremonies every year.

The people I feel most sorry for is all the techs and crews who have the coordinate and put those shows together all the time! I've worked on stage crews before: not exactly the most glamorous or enjoyable aspect of show business - you can't even take a bathroom break without it being considered you goofing off.

It seems "The Big Bang Theory" is shut out this year but I don't know about the supporting categories yet but no one from the leading categories or the major award itself. Maybe next year...

Soooooooo glad there is another award show for these poor under appreciated actors. We need an award show each month. I would write more, but I am off to my Computer System Administrator award show, can't wait for the goody bag, hope it has cell phones, diamonds, gift cards! The SA of the year looks to be a tight race. I know on the red carpet before the CSA awards, the one who wears the highest heels is the prettiest!

I just saw the list of the nominated shows. I can no longer tell the difference between comedy and drama.

I feel the same way about life.

I can't tell the difference between comedy and drama either, which is why I love "Louie".

The Good Wife had an incredibly boring season. The whole State's Attorney plot line wasn't working but they kept at it till the very end.
