Back at ya: Happy New Year and may this year not be filled with a strike (unless it's baseball).

And lest we forget, the luckiest sunnovabitch alive: Jason Bonham.

Ichiro had a pretty good year, too.

By the way, would it be possible for you to put a little button at the bottom of your page that directs me to your previous entries? Something that says "previous entries," I'm seeing. Or is that not a blogger option?

Going through your archive links is a pain in the Roberto Colon.

Out of curiosity, what was 2007 for Drew Carey? He's one person on your list I lost all track of.

Happy New Year all!

Thanks Ken; I'll take Tina Fey and stick with that. Happy new year!

Wow. If only the NSA could keep tabs on that many people. Wait a minute, they do. Best to you and your family too.

But since you broached the subject the day before yesterday's clusterpost, can we talk?

I have nothing against those Rose Parade horses that insist on walking sideways. I’m just wondering it you know why? I have a horse, and I still don’t see the attraction of that particular gait. The only reason I can think of for a horse to walk sideways is to keep from stepping in the droppings from the horse in front. Hey, maybe that’s it? Nevermind. Happy New Year.

Great list.

Two questions:

1. How long did it take you to write?

2. If not from memory, how?

Bynum?

I'm sure the early part of the summer wasn't fun.

It took about a half hour to write, using a little help from the internet. But much of the list is from memory. I just thought: "Who do I envy?" and it all came spilling out.

Drew Carey was listed because he got Bob Barker's very plum job hosting THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

Bitter animator - Drew Carey is the new host of The Price is Right.

And Ken, good work putting Scorsese first. As he should be.

If Scorcese can win the Oscar for that lousy movie maybe I can win the lottery. I'm as undeserving as he was.

And thanks for a year of great blogging. Looking forward to more in 2008.
